Grotto Sauna
Private island, Georgian Bay (Lake Huron), Ontario · 2014 · Fabricator, with PARTISANS
Charred-cedar exterior shell around a CNC-carved cedar interior that flows like a cave; two stoves, a big bay-facing window and a skylight. Site was laser-scanned so it could be built off-site and dropped onto the rock.
